The Ravens’ safeties had themselves a game against the Arizona Cardinals, and on Wednesday, their first practice since Sunday’s game, they got back starter Marcus Williams to bolster their numbers.

Williams, who’s been limited to started 10 games last season and three games this season for the Ravens, has suffered two injuries in the past eight weeks. He injured his pectoral in the first game of the season but returned for the loss to game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5. He played 95% of the team’s defensive snaps in that game.

The next week, Williams went with the team to London. He played 67% of the defensive snaps against the Tennessee Titans but injured his hamstring. He has not played in the two games since, and was limited in practice Wednesday.

“I feel great,” Williams said after practice Wednesday, his first interview with reporters since his first injury. “Stuff happens all the time, but we have good guys who come in and do a great job. There’s never a let-off, so me going down is not a problem when we have guys like that in the locker room.”
