Kenya Capehart is a Newsroom Intern at The Baltimore Banner. A native of Miami, Florida and fourth year Strategic Communication student at Morgan State University, she has lived in Baltimore for the past 3 years. Before interning at The Baltimore Banner, Kenya Capehart has worked on Morgan State's campus as a Strategic Communication Student Ambassador in the School Of Global Journalism & Communication as well as a Marketing Intern in the Office of Residence Life & Housing. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalist (NABJ) and participant in the 2022 NABJ Student Multimedia Projects during the 2022 NABJ-NAHJ Convention & Career Fair. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and watching new television shows.
